Named the largest container ship built in the United States under Mason Shipping

On March 9, Mason Steamship and Philly Shipyard held a ceremony to name an Aloha class container ship.

 
According to reports, the new ship was named "KaimanaHila", which is the second of the two Aloha-class container ships of Mason Line's order series. Its sister ship "DanielK. Inouye" has been put into operation in November 2018. .
 
The construction cost of these two ships is US$418 million, which is the first two of the four new ships that Mason Line will put into service on the Hawaii route in the next 18 months.
 
These two ships have a tonnage of more than 51,400 metric tons, a length of 850 feet, and a loading capacity of 3,600 TEU. They are the largest ship under Mason Steamship, the largest container ship built in the United States, and the fastest ship in the Mason Steamship fleet, with a maximum speed of nearly 24 Section. This ship uses a fuel-efficient hull design, equipped with fresh ballast water (product recommendation) (product recommendation) system. In terms of power, this type of ship is equipped with dual-fuel engines and can use LNG fuel.
